I've had a lot of wonderful moments in my floral design career, a lot of learning ones, and so many humbling ones that I've learned from that I couldn't even count if I wanted to. But my favorite - absolute favorite moment at every floral wedding is that moment that you see your bouquet for the first time. Every smile, gasp, tear, and head thrown back laugh of delight absolutely melts my heart. It validates every single moment of blood (those thorns hurt y'all), sweat, and tears that I pour into your floral design. It makes every single time I've set your bouquet down - taken it apart, and reassembled it until I love it so much I want to personally keep it; 100% worth it. It reminds me why I love my job and why I pursue it every day. So it's not the prettiness of the flowers, the impending stardom (come on HGTV or any network who wants to give me a reality show....anytime now), or the need to pay my bills that keeps me going. It's the knowledge that I helped make your wedding day everything you wanted it to be. That I delivered a moment of happiness and joy on the best day of your life. That's what keeps me going.
So thank you to all of my brides this year - you have all been nothing short of gorgeous, kind, and amazing women. Thank you for having me as a part of your wedding <3
Special shout out to Haley Sheffield who took these heart stopping images. I am beyond amazed with her talent. Check her out at HERE
